Dishoom is a Bombay-style café chain in the UK and it’s probably my favourite restaurant. It’s inspired by the old Irani cafés of Bombay - most of which have closed down over the decades.

I’ve probably gone 50+ times I’d guess?

It’s one of the few restaurants that has stuck around from when it opened back in 2010, in fact it’s gone from strength to strength, opening across the UK.

The black daal is incredible. Slow-cooked for 24 hours, it’s super comforting and filling.

Every time someone visits me in London, I’ll try to take them to Dishoom.

The queue is part of the experience…
