I’ve been trying to get this working so I can distribute signed binaries for macOS. Without a Developer ID certificate, users get that scary Gatekeeper warning and can’t easily install your stuff.
The problem: Apple’s account store won’t accept my $100 fee for the Developer licence. I’ve tried multiple times and it just… won’t go through. No useful error, just rejection.
This is blocking me from distributing binaries that people can install without jumping through hoops.
I’m running out of ideas. Maybe I’ll just go to an Apple Store and try to pay in person? It shouldn’t be this hard to give Apple a hundred quid.
